there's no sex in your violence

yesterday was my first day of school...it was really long...and at first i thought that since i only had one class a week it was going to be a piece of cake...well now it looks like its going to be quite the opposite...im scared

after school i went to matts for dinner and weekly degrassi...but degrassi wasnt on...BUMMER...so instead we went and bought lemons and i watched matt make dinner...

we took pictures of our food...as we usually do when we have fancy dinners ...and then matts mom pulled out this article from the globe and mail and said it was totally about us...it was about people who go to fancy places and take pictures of their food and then blog about it - its the new trend apparently - i laughed my head off...clearly matt and i are ahead of the times because we have been doing that for a while!

i had been thinking a lot lately about changing the colour of my room...back in grade 12 i went through this whole 'little girl' phase and changed everything in my room to the colour pink...my walls are bubble gum pink with big white poka dots on it...i'm kinda tired of that now tho...it makes me feel like a little girl still in highschool...and not the mature crazy girl im 'tring' to be...

i took down all my posters and pictuers last night and my room just looks so 90s...like a left over wanna be hippys room...a lot about me has changed in the last year and i just dont feel like my room reflects that...especially since my room is the one place i have...

matts mom is an interior designer and i was looking at some of her work last night and totally got inspired...my new colour scheme is going to be 'Neopolitan Ice cream' strawberrys, chocolate and vanilla...that way i can still keep some of my pink but add more brown...

im sorta scared tho because im going to paint my walls vanilla and have my furnature chocolate and my acessories strawberry...but what i am scared of is that the vanilla walls will be to BLAH...and not show the craziness of my personailty...its one thing to go from a BRIGHT pink room to a vanilla room...

im sure i will figure a way to add my craziness to it while making it mature and NOT like a 12 years olds room again...
