today is MATTS 21st birthday!!!

which is very exciting because i have been 21 for 5 months whiles hes been 20 for a whole year…and its about time that he catched up to me already…

we are going to spend the afternoon in a room covered in fabric swatches, colour ways, pencils and paper, and food…we will design our little hearts out while stuffing our faces with yummi nibblies …ohhh and maybe we will make classy drinks too!!!

we went to the fabric warehouse the other day…there was so much stuff there but not too much that appealed to me…i got some pre wrinkled plaid and some crazy sweater knits…they were expensive but i really dont care cause this is my final line and im going to do whatever i want for it…even if that includes spending lots of money on fabrics…

my dog is barking like a maniac and no one is home…i have to print off a bunch of stuff for school and then run off to my job as a personal assistant…HA…then off to mattikins place for birthday goodness…then off to our midnight class…there is no school tomorrow which rules so i’ll get to spend the day in design mode…totally looking forward to that…

the weather sucks and i predict an emo weekend…but then again you already knew that…

so it looks like my teachers aren’t too fond of the name t.h.i.r.t.y.s.e.v.e.n. they think its suggests an age and that people who aren’t 37 wont want it…umm are you mental??? apparently…they say that there needs to be a reason behind the name…something that connects to my line…umm its my favorite number and im doing my favorite clothes – there a connection of favorites…

on friday we did design exercises…the last year or so has been so focused on marketing and business that we actually havent had a creative design class in a while…it was kinda hard to get out of business mode and jump into creative mode…

we get to go to some big fabric warehouse tomorrow to get fabrics for our lines – YAY PLAID…i ordered some ecofriendly fabrics and the suckers cost my over 60 bucks…its going to be an expensive year but will be all worth it in the end…im so excited to get started on the designing part of it…

OH and remember when i asked for t.h.i.r.t.y.s.e.v.e.n. logos…well the only one that was emailed to me was from the sweater model…its a friggin beauty… making tacos for dinner!!!

days like these are the worst…i have nothing important to do…no where to go…the whole day free to do homework and get a head so that i dont stress out during the week…but instead of feeling motivated and inspired to work all i want to do is sit here and waste the day away hoping tomorrow brings something better…BLAH

i got up super early today to watch the final formula one race of the season…only to find out that the tv guide lied and the race was on later then i originally thought…ferarri won the race but not the championship…so i’m a little bummed by that…what is up with these random emo days…they dont make sense…

sometimes i will be listening to a bunch of random songs and then a sad one will come on and it makes me want to listen to more sad songs…which then makes me sad…and all of this could be avoided by just putting on a cd of non sad songs…maybe i should go do that…
