matt and his mother finally came over for lunch today…we’ve been friends for four years and never have our mothers / parents met…they’ve sent eachother gifts…they’ve talked on the phone…but never had they actually met…until today…

it was weird…like the first meeting between your parents and your boyfriends parents…it was kinda like that but not since matts not my boyfriend…well… hahaha…no

matt and i just laughed to ourselves as our mother acted like mothers and talked about food and washing machines and all things mothery…it was kinda weird to see…

we had a traditional italian lunch which matt and his mother were most excited about…then we had tea and looked at pictures of italy and australia…then there was the traditional tour of the house…and then matt passed out on my bed…

now its 3:00 and we’ll most likely sit down for another exciting episode of Young & the Restless…which i am quite excited about cause ive missed a couple days worth…not that much changes from day to day but still…

hes still sleeping so i wonder if i should wake him up…i can hear our mothers downstairs discussing people they know…and interior designing…

i have to admit its quite weird having our mothers in the same room together…

but it would be even weirder if it were our fathers…
