Wednesday morning. Le sigh.

I was ten minutes late this morning because I wasn't feeling good and it took me forever to get my lunch together because I couldn't think of what I wanted to eat because all I wanted to do was puke. I'm crampy which makes me crabby.

I then forgot that I needed to get gas just as I passed the gas station I was going to fill up at. Then my gas light went on and I started to panic because the next gas station en route is by work and I have a history of running out of gas before getting to a gas station. This made me quite anxious. I made it though and tried to ignore the construction men filling up their trucks and creepily staring at me. I was not in the mood.

And so I am here now and the bright hot sun that was out this morning has now turned into dark grey clouds clearly signaling to me that I wore the wrong outfit today. Just not a good morning.

The only positive note was that I had a very nice and unexpected email from a blogger that made my day.

Last night I cut out some lace trim for my dress but then got distracted by this idea I had for the church programs for the wedding and I was going crazy trying to figure out the layout and everything exactly the way I wanted it. I was also trying to look for some ornate curly scroll clip art pictures to use and it feared next to impossible. I finally found some on this website that supplies clip art for websites and you can sign up and buy the actual things you want which I seriously considered. Remember I am a freak for details. Anyways, I was actually able to copy and paste some of them that didn't have a water mark on them. My only fear was that because it wasn't the original file if I tried to re size the art it would become all pixelated. So I kept everything the same size and laid them out like I wanted (they make everything looks quite gaudy but I still like it) did a test print and they were friggin pixelated. Bastards. It doesn't look HORRIBLE but it doesn't meet my standards. I'm not sure what to do about it, but after spending 4 hours working on it I've gave up for right now.

Also last night I decided to do a little somin-somin for my feets. I read this article the other day that if your feet are dry and you need a quick fix you smother them in lotion, wrap them in cling wrap, put some socks on and let your feet be for the rest of the night. So since I was staying home to obsess over curly scrolls I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to do this. Other then waking up at 3 because I can't stand wearing socks to bed it was a very nice experience and my feet feel amazing today. This is definitely something I will be doing more often!

So now that I've gotten all that off my chest here is the real post I was going to do...

Monday night we headed out to Confederation park for some bocce playing. Somehow the boys beat the girls even though Chad usually sucks at bocce most days, he some how pulled out all the stops this time. Here are some pictures and a little bit of their story.

Chad and I were post showers that why our hair isn't done and Chad is scruffy and my face is naked.
I love Confederation park for the simple fact that every night you will find loads of old Italians down there playing bocce, playing cards, hanging out, chatting and crowd watching. I've already told Chad that when we are old and retired that is exactly what we are doing every night.
