We got home last night at 10 and there was a power outage all around us. We couldn’t get into the garage so we had to park outside in the pouring rain and left half the crap we bought in the unlocked trunk. I kept trying to turn the lights on in the apartment because it was so dark not realizing it was so dark because we had no power. Duh. I used the power outage as my excuse for being late this morning, but there was no one here to use the excuse on so it didn’t really matter in the end. All of the plans today have been re-arranged and it has gone from pouring rain to sunny with clear skies in the matter of hours. There is something strange in the air today. I’m behind now so everything is getting postponed. Shopping and meetings tomorrow instead of today. Cleaning and organizing later on. Lots of things to respond to and people to touch base with.

at least it’s not miserable out again today. So now you girlies are leaving me tomorrow to shop? booooo!
