So all the Christmas presents are wrapped! Yes! It feels good to get all that done. I’ve decided that since the girls and I are going shopping on Robson tomorrow night I am going to take part of my Christmas bonus and spend it on Chad to get him a few extra things, even though I’ve already gone over budget. Ha. But they will be things he can use every day so it will be worth it. Plus, I love spoiling him. I.E. the 40 lbs of Baked Ziti I surprised him with last night.

Although I am the first to admit that I am overly obsessed with snow, I was partially relieved that the ‘giant snow storm’ that was suppose to hit us this week, didn’t in fact come true. I think last year really put the fear of God in me when it comes to snow. I blame it all on our death trap of a back alley. I do hope it snows while I am off on Christmas break though. I managed to get 5 days off in a row this year (well including the weekend) so I’m looking forward to that. We are going to be so busy this year, I don’t even want to think about it! At least work will be somewhat slow as most of our suppliers take longer vacations then we do.

I have to say that I haven’t really been all that excited about Christmas this year. I was excited to get the Christmas Tree up early, because I love the feeling of the house only being lite by the colourful lights, but other then that I just have not been in the spirit of it all. I don’t know. Maybe it’s just harder to get excited about things now a days. Maybe this year has just done a number to my soul. The only thing I am REALLY looking forward to is the possibility of getting the new lap top I asked for. My old one seriously pisses me off to the point where I just wont use it anymore, which then makes me feel bad because I feel sorry for inanimate objects. Speaking of which, I somehow knocked over my external hardrive last night and busted it and dented the floor. Great. Chad was able to mangle it back into shape, but he scared the shit out of with the possibility that I lost all my data. Thankfully he was wrong.

Elise is coming over for dinner tonight, since our husbands are too busy working and going to school. We have become desperate housewives. Dinner and a movie. Sounds romatic! I’m interested to what movies she brings over. I have a feeling Little House on the Prairie will be included in the bunch.

Tonight starts a week long adventure of Chad and I have many events to attend to, with half of them being separate events. Should be interesting!
