It’s been a busy week. Busy, busy, week.

Lots of work has been going on at the house which is excellent. We’ve spent a lot of time working away. Windows have gone in, trim is being installed, we ripped down the ceiling in the kitchen, and painted the ceilings in the bedroom. Slowly but surely it is becoming ‘our’ home. I will take some photos tonight of the updates that have taken place.

Yesterday was our big Fall photo shoot. We were at yet another very large and spectacular house, with an even more spectacular garden. The shoot went off with out a hitch and I’m every excited to see all the final photos next week.

This weekend we get to do a bit of relaxing with a wine tasting on Saturday night and a day spent at the PNE on Sunday. It’s been years since I’ve spent a whole day there so I am looking forward to how fun and exhausting it will be. I wonder how many people we will run into that we know!

Mama Rossi’s house is being worked on today. Walls are now being patched, sanded and painted. Lord knows she is losing her mind over all the dust and construction that is going on. Mama doesn’t like a mess. She is trying to bribe the workers to be clean with lots of cookies and muffins. Come to think of it, she bribes a lot of people with her baking.

I went for a check up at the dentist today. I have 10 more weeks of braces to go and then I’m all done. It’s been a very quick journey with essentially zero complications. If I am not 100% happy with the way my teeth have turned out then I get to have new impressions taken and new trays made to ensure I am happy with my smile. Can’t complain much about that! I think everything is going to work out well in the end. I wonder what will be finished first, the house or my teeth?

I’m feeling very good about all the progress we are making, and as much as I am going to miss Summer, I can’t help but be very excited that Fall is just around the corner. Everything good happens in the Fall. It is the start of so many new beginnings.
