I have been toying with the idea of starting a fashion section on my blog now for quite some time. I’m sure you’ve heard me mention it before in different mediums. Fashion is so much a part of my life, even if I don’t consider myself a ‘fashionista’, so it only makes sense to dedicate a blog to it. Well, that is finally what I am going to do.

I became inspired yesterday and have created a project for myself that is going to last a year. Its going to be called ’365 Outfits a Year’. I don’t want to give too much away but I’m sure you can imagine what its about.

Along with the project I am doing, the blog will also feature things that I have bought, styling idea, fashion tips, trend forecasting, and just general fun things about fashion.

Alicia has already started an awesome fashion blog, and I’m not about to go out and copy her, but I think that even if we do talk about a few of the same things it will end up coming out differently since we both have different styles. Plus the main feature of my blog will be the 365 Outfits project. But I do LOVE Alicia’s blog and the way she puts together outfits.

I have set the launch date to be Jan 1 2010, that way it will be easy to count out all the days. If it turns out to be a success I may carry it on for more then a year, but we will see how it goes. I am very excited to put the website together and explain my mission.

I guess it is safe to say that for the next 28 days I am going to be quite obsessed with setting everything up.

2010 will be the year of Fashion.

Up and Over It

Don’t you love how instead of talking about the weekend on Monday, I drag it out all week long! I know I am bad at that, but you just have to deal.

I didn’t plan my time wisely today. I took way to long to label files and then I spent an hour answering music questions on a survey where I ended up with nothing as a Thank You for filling out the survey. OH WELL. Now I have to do the ever looming end of the day production run. Woot Woot people Woot Woot. Hopefully Claudia and I will be able to pick out some buttons before I have to leave.

I’ve been wearing a knit hat all day long. You know, the kind all the indy kids wear. Actually, its probably not indy if Lindsey is wearing it. My Bad. Anyways, my head hates when things are on it for too long. Barrettes, head bands, hats, anything with even the smallest amount of pressure. However, some how I have gone all day while wearing my hat. Indoors for that matter. I believe I look quite cute in it. If only I had a picture. I need to organize my life.

I’m thinking Pesto Pesto Pesto. With extra Garlic. Wouldn’t want anyone from Twilight coming after me.

Whats that? 350 18L DTM Akoya Buttons.? Ok. Gotta Run.

I’ve spent all day putting together some trend sheets for a trend meeting that they are having at one of the stores tomorrow which I am going to miss because I’ve booked too many things this week. They are going to be serving free pizza. I am devastated that I am missing it. I will probably spend the majority of tomorrow working on these sheets as well. I will post all the trends on here too, just for fun. Who knew my studded punk belt would one day be considered ‘high fashion’.

Now I’ve got to clean up and pack my bags for a trip over to Claudias for some take out and Grey Gardens. Mom bought it for me a while ago but I still haven’t watched it so we are going to do that tonight. I am quite looking forward to it. I wonder where we will order food from? If my stomach wasn’t in knots for no reason I would be more excited for all the food. I also don’t know how to get to Claudias because I’ve never gone there by myself. Humm…I guess I have an adventure on my hands.

Down to the Beach I go.
