Who’s idea was it to have all this hot sweaty weather??? I am the biggest compainer of heat. My body simply can not handle it. I don’t know how many times it has caused me to faint during the Summer months, probably 10 times. It’s just not my thing. I dread going home to the apartment because even with all the windows open there is no fresh air coming in and it feels like a sauna. It makes me want to cry.
Thankfully last weekend was not that bad, heat wise. Sunday afternoon we all headed out to East Van to hit up Trout Lake for a BBQ with friends and puppies. It was a beautiful day and ended up cooling down around dinner which was perfect and comfortable.

This picture make me fall in love with Summer.
The boys mostly played sports and the girls mostly sat around and chatted, though there was some inter mingling of the sexes. It was such a great way to spend an after, under a tree with a BBQ, good friends, and pretty much the cutest puppies ever. I’m sure we will be doing this at least once a month during the summer. It’s such an easy way to spend the day.
